FAQ
Useful answers before you enquire
Is normal editing really included?
Yes. Standard packages include useful shot selection, normal adjustments, colour correction and grading, basic cropping or stabilisation and full quality delivery. The £10 brand edit is for supplied logos, text/titles, simple transitions and suitable music.
What happens if the weather is unsuitable?
I do not normally fly in rain or stronger wind conditions that could reduce safety or useful image quality. A postponement caused by the weather can be rearranged without a filming charge.
Does an enquiry confirm the flight?
No. The location, airspace, people, obstacles, launch point, permissions and weather must be checked before a booking is confirmed.
What IDs and insurance apply?
I hold a Flyer ID and the responsible adult operator arrangement uses an Operator ID. A paid flight is accepted only when the required registration and compliant commercial insurance are in place for the planned operation.
How quickly are files delivered?
Most projects take from the same day to around one week, depending on the size of the edit and other commitments. The expected delivery date is agreed with the quote. If an agreed deadline slips by more than three days for a reason within my control, I will add 5% off a future booking.
Can you provide vertical video or original files?
The drone records horizontally in 16:9, but suitable shots can be reframed for vertical social content. All suitable original clips and RAW/DNG photographs can be added for £15.
Where do you travel?
Travel is free within roughly eight miles of central Swindon, including nearby areas such as Wroughton. Outside that area the estimate is approximately £1 per mile based on the distance from Swindon; longer trips receive a custom quote.
